  • We don't store account passwords once recovery is complete

  • For Account Recovery: When submitting recovery requests to email providers on your behalf
  • Legal Requirements: To comply with laws, court orders, or legal processes

  • Encryption: All data transmitted to and from our website uses SSL/TLS encryption
  • Access Controls: Only authorized personnel have access to personal information, limited to what's necessary for their role
  • Secure Storage: Sensitive documents are stored in encrypted, password-protected systems

Disclaimer: While we take extensive precautions, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but will notify you of any data breaches as required by law.

Data Retention

We retain your information for different periods depending on the type:

  • Case Data & Guides: Retained while your case is active, then deleted or irreversibly anonymized within 30 days after inactivity or case completion. Guide links expire after 30 days.
  • Identity Documents: If collected for provider verification workflows, deleted within 30 days of case closure unless a longer retention period is legally required.
  • Communications: Contact messages and help requests are retained for up to 1 year for customer service purposes.
  • Payment Records: Kept for 7 years to comply with tax and financial regulations
  • Analytics Data: Anonymized usage data may be retained indefinitely for service improvement
